Motomachi Shokudo: Sunday Hangover Cure

COM
As an usual consequence of a hard-core party night, we all got hangover. When we were sleeping at my place, J just suddenly woke up and rushed to go home (such a good girl :P) That pissed me off so bad because I wanted to enjoy my lazy Sunday snoozes with her. After watching ManU kick Chelsea's ass, I went back to my sleep and took a long nap until afternoon. We were craving for some Japanese ramen and decided to go for Motomachi Shokudo on Denman street.

Jeanette:
hahaha, I panicked when I saw it was 7:59 a.m! so I just got ready so quickly and ran home :p
After catching up with some sleep, we met up again and headed to Motomachi Shokudo - My favorite Ramen place in Vancouver. I know there is tons of ramen place popping up around the town. I'm no expert in Ramen, but I prefer deep, clean, msg free, not too fatty taste and Motomachi Shokudo delivers exactly that. We both had nama shoyu ramen which is soy sauce based. also, we had bbq pork platter. I love their spicy sauce because it taste like korean sauce that I make for acorn jelly dish or eggplant dish. It was a lot of food and we killed them lol and I was complaining that my tummy's gonna burst as I walk out hahaha...

Halloween 2012

I can say it is my best Halloween ever. I had no idea what I would be until Jeanette came back from Thailand. Actually I didn't feel excited or so, my feeling was gone with her. :P She was in her sexy referee costume. Sinapa is a police. Anant is a clown. Me being an evil bunny.
We had a house party at Sinapa's place before heading to Barcelona. Thai people are so fun. We played some game to get a bit drunk and tipsy. I was surprised that the manager of Sinapa's building could let us make some noises, usually she doesn't. The weather was not supporting at all. It has been raining dog and cat for the last two weeks. If the weather was nice, we would have been on Granville and had fun with everyone.
Barcelona was packed, the line up was pretty crazy but we could skip the line. The music was OK but it had such a good party vibe. We really enjoyed ourselves so much that we felt really hungry and went to Wings for some chicken wings and beer. Chicken wings had never been that tasty before. I guess when we are all exhausted from dancing, everything should taste goooood. We went back in the club for another hour and left early.

It was surely a fun party :D I actually ordered 2 costume online but only 1 came :( Booooooo! AnywhO~ like David said, the music at Barcelona was just O.K..but so upset that they did not play Gangnam style...! lolzz  I really missed having wings @ Wings and oh boy, it tasted soooooo gooooood! :D I guess we are not going to have any party on actual Halloween night (David's midterm next day..) but I am so looking forward to next year's Halloween already hehe

Jeanette:
Today was the day I had to leave to Nakorn Si Tammarat to visit Walailak University. I had to take 6:45 flight and I woke up at 1:30 am - My time zone is just too screwed up these days. it's not even Vancouver time zone :p Anyways, I was upset from last night and was feeling down. On top of that, having little sleep really didn't help. Also I had a such a hard time packing up since I bought some bulky things :( & had to pay $100 more for the overweight charge.... A really bad morning altogether :P

Such a lovely shot from the plane :)

Landed at Nakorn Si Tammarat airport

Such a cute airport. You literally walk to the airport terminal from the plane.
Then, staffs will hand load you luggage!!

The university is located in Nakorn Si Tammarat but professors wanted to show us their students in intership in Koh Samui's resorts. When I decided to go to Krabi last year, I was considering Koh Samui as well and now I'm fortunate to go there for work :) After we arrived at Nakorn si Tammarat, we took an hour and half ferry to Koh Samui.

Ferry ride to Koh Samui

They took us to Safari park in Koh Samui - we watched shows like Elephant show, Monkey show, Bird show, Cobra show and Crocodile Show. :)

I was surprised to see one elephant's big...junk..:P
